From 5 to 8 September 2025, Vicenza hosts VO Vintage, the marketplace exhibition dedicated to fine watches and jewellery, open to the public with free admission.
A unique opportunity for dreamers, collectors and buyers alike: more than 40 Italian and international exhibitors will showcase rare pieces and masterpieces of watchmaking and jewellery art.
Alongside the exhibitions, two days of talks (Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 September) will bring together leading figures from the world of vintage timepieces and collecting.
Among the speakers:
-
Michele Mengoli, journalist and editor-in-chief of Watch Insanity
-
Jacopo Giudici, founder of Watch Insanity
-
Bruno Bergamaschi (Giorgione), a key figure in Italian watch culture
-
Andrea Foffi, collector and founder of Vintage Watches and Cars
-
Marco Cesari, co-founder of Perusia Watches
-
Antonio Nocco, renowned Parma-based expert in vintage timepieces
The programme will also cover independent collecting, with Dody Giussani (L’Orologio magazine and the “Laboratorio” podcast), Pietro Pannone (podcaster), and Jacopo Spangaro of the namesake auction house.
Entrepreneur Marcello Binda will share insights into reviving the historic Wyler Vetta brand.
Meanwhile, Locman will present an exhibition of its most iconic models: the “Teseo Tesei” (developed with the Italian Navy), the “Ducati D120” chronograph (celebrating the 2021 MotoGP victory) and its 100% Italian-made mechanical movements in partnership with OISA 1937.
On Sunday, sessions will focus on technical insights for collectors: watch maintenance with expert Irene Baiardi, and how to spot restorations and original details with Dody Giussani and appraiser Giovanni Varesi.
The spotlight will not only be on watches: displays will include jewellery spanning from the Victorian era and Belle Époque to the glamour of Italy’s Dolce Vita years. Rings, necklaces and brooches adorned with diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies, coral, pearls, onyx and opals will be offered by prestigious dealers such as E.L.A. Antichità, Gioielleria Faelutti, Italian Vintage Jewellery, Scala Gioielli, and newcomer from the Netherlands EL & L Finery.
On the watchmaking side, returning exhibitors include Vintage Watches and Cars (Andrea Foffi), Il Quadrante (Antonio Nocco), Perusia Watches (Marco Cesari) and Spangaro Watches.
Finally, Spangaro Auction House will preview its upcoming high-end watch auction, featuring both prestigious and accessible pieces, scheduled for 27 September 2025 in Venice—in a secret location, in keeping with the itinerant style of this young Udine-based maison.
